The Hostel KIWAVI HOME is located in Moshi, Tanzania and is a common starting point for a safari or the ascent of Kilimanjaro. The rooms are simply and lovely furnished and every morning you get a fresh prepared breakfast.

KIWAVI HOME is part of the non-profit organisation KIPEPEO. It is managed by the leaders of the organisation and people from the programm are responsible to cook for the guests, to keep the rooms clean and provide security. Trough the emploiment they receive a regular income, which enables them to live independent. In addition, KIPEPEO benefits from the hostel's profit. With every stay in our KIWAVI HOME you automatically support KIPEPEO.

The Kiwavi Home has five rooms with seven beds and in total 14 places to sleep. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom. Included in the price you get every morning a seasonal and fresh prepared breakfast.

If you are volunteering in Moshi or looking for a place to live during your time as a student on an internship, KIWAVI HOME i will be your perfect home. You will meet different people and live in a familiar environment together with local people. The kitchen and everything else in the hostel can be used. Around KIWAVI HOME are based many different social projects and we offer to introduce you to them.
